Conventional mopping robots tend to grind messes and debris into the floor until they return to the base station to wash the mop. Our solution — a consistently clean mop. R1 features separate water tanks. The mop rotates upwards to effectively lift dirt off the floor. The wet mess is removed from the mop and gathered in a waste water tank. Ozone sterilized clean water is blended with cleaning solution to ensure the ongoing cleanliness of both the mop and the floor.

When we designed the user interface of R1 Always-Clean, our goal was to have the smallest footprint possible, only catching your attention when truly necessary. The embedded touch sensitive panel allows direct access to key features while the LED lights provide R1's status. The robot and the base station form a fully automated cleaning system covering a range of tasks that work together to provide a thoroughly clean floor.
